The Artisan Park town homes are the second phase to the Victoria Commons Master Redevelopment Plan. This project was also publicly funded from several sources including HOPE VI and HUD. The San Antonio Housing Authority in conjuction with Carleton Residential Properties were able to sell individual town home lots on a fee simple basis contributing to HOPE VI concept of mixed income housing for community revitalization.
The Artisan Park Townhomes are another example of the colloaborative design process of Lake Flato and BGO Architects. The design motifs and concepts delivered in the Refugio Street Apartments evolved into a townhome configuration consisting of a slightly different form with similar vocabulary.
