5225 Maple Avenue is a high denisty new urbanism project on the outskirts of downtown Dallas. The site is a previous industralized zoning area reclaimed as an "urban infill" residential community. This project became the leader for the community, sparking more residenital development in the area. BGO Architects experimented with a combination of "soft loft" and "hard loft" finishes to expend the market diversity of tennants for the owners.

This project included three out of five construction types, including TYPE I cast in place post tension slab parking garage, TYPE II steel tower, and TYPE V wood framed apartments. The configuration of building separations and allowable areas became an example template for many other podium framed, new urbanism projects at BGO.
