This project was invented on a multilevel site whose only context was a double retaining wall. Concepts of the building's use and occupancy were invented by the students, in which I created a nerd's paradise of collectibles and exhibits relating to all media forms of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Design partis and interior elevations were created to help direct and inspire the creation of the building. Massings were created to look similar in plan, section and elevation. I used a component of curves in plan and elevation to emphasize the connection. The models were designed to be stacked so that a partial plan and section model connected above the 3D model to create interesting volumes and compositions, while also displaying the working relationships of plan and section spaces of the 3D model below.
