BGO's intra-office publication "Out of Ink" recognized Jeff Massey for starting and maintaining an office wide paper recycling program for several years. Before a recycling company was hired by BGO to remove the large volumes of paper, I was hauling off large loads to recycling centers in my own vehicle. The program started with my own team at about 5 tons per year and quickly spread through the entire office with weekly trips adding up to 20 tons per year.
The article was written by fellow associate Will Quintilla, who assisted in the grass roots program, bundled and hauled paper himself and helped me convince BGO to negotiate with the building management to hire a third party for recycling services. Thanks, Will :)
