This first year project was a 4 story house with a restricted building envelope. The context is a whole hillside of houses; in which, some are approached from the bottom of the hill, and some are approached from the top of the hill. All of the designs began from a 9 square grid of 27'-0" by 27'-0" and finished as a bass wood model that would be combined with others in the studio to create the master model of multiple houses as shown.
